Wayne Miles

Wayne Miles is one of the most successful and influential talent managers in Las Vegas.
Wayne Miles graduated from high school in Pennsylvania in 1953. He enlisted in the US Army and served 8 years in the Airborne. After his army career He moved to Los Angeles where he restored and sold antique automobiles. He also worked as a mercenary, soldier of fortune, for 5 years. While in the army, Wayne, served 3 years in Japan where he began studying the martial arts. He studied under Mtatoshi Nakayama.

He also studied under Mast Greg Lee, and Grandmaster Harry Kahale, in the United States. After 55 years of dedication to the martial arts, Wayne achieved the rank of Grandmaster of Chinese Hawaiin Martial Arts. In the 1960's he traveled to Las Vegas, NV, where he began working as a bodyguard to the movie stars that performed there. Through his work he met a famous crooner and was convinced to begin singing. Wayne also worked as a bit part actor in the movies and tv commercials. This was the start of his career in entertainment, which, spanned 48 years in Las Vegas, in the industry he learned to love.

During the whole extent of his life, Wayne Miles has lost his riches and his business several times. One time in 2005, a tidal wave swept off his memorabilia and his photos to the Gulf of Mexico. When he and his family moved to Palm Bay, Florida from Las Vegas wherein he established himself a great business in the music industry, hurricanes took away what he worked hard for. Las Vegas has been a great place and at the same time depressing for him. This is also where he was able to play bit roles in the movies and commercials due to his looks which are very suitable for motion pictures as well as print ads.

The moment hurricane Katrina hit certain states in America, Wayne and his family was already in Mississippi, thus, he lost his business again.  He lost his greatest treasure when his wife lost her long battle to cancer. Not one to lose hope, after a year of depression, he picked himself up and returned to Las Vegas to establish a company, a business he has learned and known well. He then started to build up an entertainment agency that aimed to help entertainers achieve success and popularity that they are all wishing for. This was the birth of Crossfire Music, the company that Wayne Miles built painstakingly. Crossfire Music has contributed much in bringing Las Vegas back to life, back to being the “The Entertainment Center of the World”.

Miles’ two children Jackie and Cathy are also part of his company. They are both staffs of Crossfire Music and have also come a long way like their father. Jackie, a straight-A student and bright girl had easily loved the art of Criminology and had enrolled herself to study criminal justice. Cathy, on the other hand, graduated on top of her class and decided to follow her dad’s footsteps and decided to serve her country where she also received great recognition and awards for her outstanding service. Like their father, Cathy and Jackie both strive for excellence and success. They too have developed his keen sense for business and love for music.

Wayne Miles is not just a survivor and a good father, but he also shows that through the hard times it is best to stand up, dust your self off and start over.

He has done just that and because of his determination and patience, he now owns a great entertainment company and is a renowned manager.

Through the year’s accumulation of knowledge and interest about the music industry, he found what he really love the most and has even built an empire around it.
