Patrice’s talent was discovered in music at a very early age, singing in church with her father, a classically trained singer who took Patrice under his wing and taught her to sing various genres of music. Patrice sang around Chicago-land, Indiana and Wisconsin for over 5 years with the –R&B/Jazz Bands, Velvet Rope and Krush Groove...Patrice started singing in church, school talent shows, parties and weddings. Patrice garnered her talent and headed on the road. Patrice got her first real singing gig as a solo artist after winning first place at a local community center talent contest. Not long after that Patrice was singing the national anthem at Wrigley Field and White Sox Park. Patrice also has had the opportunity to work in the acting field doing commercials for Chicago Attorney’s and walk on Roles in the TV programs ER and Chicago Hope.
Singing for various political functions in Chicago for then Senator Barack Obama. Patrice really got the icing on the cake when she had the opportunity to sing back up vocals for her cousin the late great blues singer Tyrone Davis on his last album before his untimely death. Patrice auditioned for -Americas Got Talent 3rd. season where she was a semi-finalist , She also recently auditioned for new singing competitions called The Voice & The X Factor where she made it to the final round of both competitions . Patrice currently resides in Las Vegas and enjoys singing with Local talented singers . Patrice gets various compliments and comments on her smokey, raspy, raw alto voice that has been compared to Karen Carpenter & Amy Winehouse.
