Jenni Walton got her start in Lexington, South Carolina where she was born and raised. She is one of seven children to a family filled with artists and musicians. She has been singing and performing since the age of 3. She came to the stage starting off as a small town beauty queen. She won crowds over at such a young age with her amazing vocal ability and charming personality. Even after winning pageant after pageant it was obvious that Jenni truly loved the talent portion of each competition. She then turned her sights to the musical theatrical stage. At the age of 7, she did her first production at the Village Square Theater with the Lexington County Arts Association. She continued to do an average of 3 shows year. While other kids were playing at parks, shopping and other curricular activities, Jenni found her play ground on a stage under the big lights. When she was 14, on top of her theater performances, Jenni also began singing with her sisters Cyndi and Deedi. They called themselves Tonal Harmony. The girls made their debut at the South Carolina State Fair during a performance by Tonic Solfa. After the lead singers heard the girls singing in the crowd at Tonic Solfa's previous performance, they were called to come up out of the audience to sing on stage. The crowd response was amazing.
Jenni and her sisters became a local success very quickly and began singing at various festivals and got the pleasure of opening for big names like “The Tams”. They were hired to do private parties and special functions. They were given several television and radio interviews and were well on their way to stardom. After high school, Jenni and her sisters decided to put the group aside and take solo routes.
Jenni began playing guitar and she wrote her first song only knowing three cords that her father had taught her. This revealed yet another talent that Jenni has been blessed with. Songs began to flow out of her as she experienced life through her music. Jenni continued performing on stages all over the south. She has recently signed with her manager Wayne Miles at Crossfire Music. She is looking forward to finally releasing her songs for the world to hear and warming the hearts of America through music.
